Car polishing is in fact being commercially used before the 1930’s. Due to the mass commercialization and the popularity of car polish, it is readily available in stores. It will not be an oversimplification to suggest that the car polish is a variant of sand. In fact the sand also shines the surface but the only difference between the two substance lies in the abrasive nature of the car polish which makes it stick, harden and shine, at the same time. Certain natural colors like red are exposed to the natural sunlight that makes them vulnerable to rust. Car polish acts to preserve the car paint and protects it from getting dull. Contrary to certain advertisement flicks, every time the car is polished, a layer of the original paint is peeled off. Always use cotton clothing to polish the car. The fibers inside the cotton interact naturally with the components in a car polish. Whatever the case, the solution is to read the instructions before polishing your vehicle. Following instructions is by far the best and most effective method.

A large proportion of new drivers overlook the important instructions on the polish container. Follow the guidelines on the container as it might contain an important clue to the well being of your vehicle. Also, never polish the car in a cold or humid environment. Before polishing, park your vehicle in a shade.

Apply wax in a circular motion across the entire outer frame.

This is a two step process starting with plain water, then with car detergent. Never use your household detergents as they are too strong leading to removal of paint. Having washed your car with a car specified detergent mix, wash again with plain water and let the excess water fall off. Chamois leather or micro fiber towel is recommended to dry the car exterior. The next step is to apply the car polish with an applicator brush in an even manner.

Heat burns wax onto the finish, with ugly and hard to remove results.

If your car has detailing you do not want to wax, cover the parts with masking tape. Then with a damp sponge, apply the car wax to your car, going in small circles (if you have an older car) or long strokes along the lines of the car (if you have a newer car). Do not let extra wax get caught in the seams and joins of the exterior, and avoid waxing any dull plastic detailing. Then take a soft, lint free towel and buff off the excess wax, going along the car in the same sequence in which you applied the wax.

You can easily apply the wax on your car. For ever lasting gloss of the car, instructions given with the product should be carefully followed.

Some important things need to be considered for the perfect application of the car wax. The best wax is the carnauba wax which is easily applicable. If you find the application of the wax easier, then it can be used more regularly.

And for those of us whose math skills do not allow us to instantly calculate how many gallons of water are gushing out of a hose, it can be hard to know what kind of car wash is easiest on the environment. In reality, all of them are. and none of them. Read on to learn the environmental pros and cons of each car wash method.

It is due to the mass production that the car wax is widely available to every one. Unfortunately, the overproduction has provided an opportunity to the con artists. Be cautious and avoid buying the cheap stuff. Take your time and research the web to find a good quality car wax. A supreme shine never ends only in buying the car wax.

Experts suggest that dark cars be waxed only with natural waxes. For lighter cars, either natural or artificial waxes are good, depending on whether you want your car’s finish to be shinier or to have more richness of color.

Is there much plastic on your car? Some car waxes react poorly to matte plastic, especially the porous, dark kind so popular on recent models, and deposit a residue that may need extra attention with a special cleaner to remove. If your car has a lot of visible plastic, make sure the wax you choose is compatible with plastic.

How durable do you want the car wax to be, and how long are you willing to spend in applying it? Consumer Reports performed a comparison test and found that liquid waxes were the most durable and the best at cleaning.

One of the most important things you should consider when purchasing waxes are the harder the substance is, the longer it will adhere to the paint and offer protection for your automobile.

Read all directions so you will know the proper steps in applying these types of protective products to your cars. Before applying waxes you should always thoroughly wash and then dry your vehicle. This helps to achieve a nice shine when you have finished, because waxing over dirt will not do you any good and can even scratch the surface. The next step is applying your choice in a quality car wax, beginning at one end and working in small sections until you reach the other end.

People avoid it because they argue that it is dangerous for the body of the car. However, it has been proved that it is made up of carnauba or from other natural waxes hence, they do not damage the cars. Good contents added in the car waxes can also increases their functions. The major benefit of using it is that it is very simple and easy to apply. For ever lasting gloss of the car, a car wax is the best option.

Yet other consumers do not think they have to wax newer cars since they contain a clear coat.

The problem is the actual purpose of car wax gets lost in the translation of what really happens. Car wax used to be solely for maintaining the colors of cars. The colors of cars transformed over time without wax. In the new era the car wax acts as an extra layer of protection and it helps maintain the glossiness of the car.
