There are more people that do not know the reasons for waxing a car. Even more important there are less people who actually go out and wax their car or have it waxed. There are several different reasons for this. Some people just do not know they should go out and do it or that it can keep their car looking new. Other people believe that they do not have to use car wax because it has a clear coat on it.

The problem is the actual purpose of car wax gets lost in the translation of what really happens. Car wax used to be solely for maintaining the colors of cars.Without car wax colors used to turn from red to orange or black would fade to gray.In the new era the car wax acts as an extra layer of protection and it helps maintain the glossiness of the car.

The problem with the clear coat is that it’s a reflective layer of paint that is super thin.Clear coat is only a very thin layer of paint that is reflective.Since the clear coat is so thin it causes any kind of scratch to stand out. Cars often turn dull looking if car wax and washes do not happen often enough.

There was a recent study that had determined the panhandle of Florida had the most air pollution than any other area of any other state. With any amount of pollution there is a certain amount of acid rain. What the study proved was that the rain could be as acidic or more than orange juice and coke.So imagine pouring orange juice on your car.You probably would not let it sit there on your car.You would go wash your car.It is the same idea for car wax. That car wax allows for your car to be protected from any elements.

Finally there is an easy way to look at the importance of washing your car.Imagine going down to the beach. When you get down there what is the first thing you normally do?You are probably like everyone else and put sunscreen on your skin so you do not burn. The same thing applies for your car as the car wax protects your car just as sunscreen protects you.

Lots of consumers do not know they can easily look online for car wax. There are car wax stores online that offer strictly car wax along with your normal name brand stores. The specialty stores are not as easy to find as the bigger stores but they usually have the better deal on car wax.By looking online you will be sure to find the best price on car wax for the type of wax you need.

I do not want to scratch up my paint by accidentally rubbing dirt in, so I like to make the last section of the car that I do.

Once you are done applying your car polish, rub the car off with a soft cloth to make it nice and shiny. This process may seem like a real pain in the neck, but in the long run, it will save you a lot of money. Years of life will be added to your car, as will dollar signs if you ever trade or sell your vehicle. A simple application of car polish will keep your car looking just as beautiful as the day that you brought it home.

For that kind of money, you will have to leave your car to the car wash for two weeks. It is like presenting your car with a two weeks vacation to a top resort. This is because for that amount and for that long, it includes a Pinnacle Miracle Detail, which has 61 stages. It will also receive Zymol Royal wax treatment in 4 layers. The wax itself is about $13,000 per container so at least you know that you are getting your moneys worth.

You can choose from a wide assortment of car wax. There are natural ones and synthetic ones. A good car wax should last several months. You will need a soft sponge and a clean cloth. Working in sections, put the car wax on in a light layer.

If you do it yourself, here is how. Wash your car thoroughly first. You do not want to apply wax if your car is in the hot sun or if the temperature outside is too cold. Make sure you do not feel any grit when you run your hand over the paint. Use a non abrasive car safe surface cleaner to remove bits of grit from the paint if there is still some present even after washing the car.

Often it has been recommended to use two separate sponges, if you would like one for the chassis and one for the wheels.

It is a good idea to at least dry off the outside windows, if not the entire car, after rinsing. It is best to wipe down the windshield and windows inside the car with some household glass cleaner and paper towel. Protective rubber spray to keep your tires from cracking can be a good investment. This will keep your tires from cracking and weakening in the heat.

What comprises carwash supplies? Well, for starters, a car owner would require a good car shampoo to get rid of the dirt, grime and oil stains. There are two types of car shampoos available, one for the exterior car paint and the other for the interiors of the car. The car care routine starts with a car wash using a car shampoo and then following it up with a car polishing stage. Washing down a car requires a car wash hose, differential nozzles, sponges and car wash towels. The latest micro fiber towels are better than traditional sponges as they do not scratch the paint.

Car cleaner polish is used to remove bug splatter, bird droppings, and minor scratches. With car polish, the shine of your car is protected for as long as one year.

Car polish should be applied only after you have washed your car. You should work the car polish into only one part of your car at a time. Apply the polish in a circular motion using a clean microsoft cloth.

The selection of the best car wax should be based on the best brand and the quality of the product. In the selection of the car wax one should never compromise with the quality because of price because car is an expensive asset and its maintenance also requires such expenditures.

There are various advantages which can be achieved after using it such as it can save the car from the direct exposure to the ultra violet radiations. Secondly, after using it, dust pollution and environmental dust can be avoided. Thirdly, car wax can also help in controlling the moisture contact to car.

How often will my car need a new coat of car wax?

Depending on what type of wax you opt for, you will need to wax every two to three months. Paste and liquid waxes last longer than spray waxes. The environment also matters: If you do not park under shelter, if the average temperature in your region is hot, if your car is exposed to a lot of droppings, tree sap, or blowing sand, or if your car’s finish faces any other kinds of abuse, you should apply wax more often. The best way to tell whether your car is due for a wax is to watch how water beads on the finish. If the drops are over half an inch wide or if the water forms sheets instead, your car needs another coat of wax.

I like to do it periodically because I know that it will bring benefits in the long run. I use Valentines Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day as my car polishing days.

On a bit of a side note, washing your car regularly is also very important. Actually, car washing is just as important as waxing, especially if you live in an area where the roads are treated with salt in the winter. I like to add washing my car to my weekly routine.

You should wash and dry the car properly before applying wax to it. The Car Wax which is difficult to apply is considered to be more effective. This is because of the fact that the Car Waxes which are easier to apply need to be applied more often with shorter intervals in between.

The Car Wax should be applied using a wax sponge. Use circular motions during the application of the Wax and you should take care that the wax doesn’t get into seams and jambs.

The requirements to wax your car, is a good quality wax, a clean towel and a small sponge. Also your car needs to be clean and dry before you start waxing it. Be careful as to take a non abrasive car wax so as to not damage your car. Read the directions clearly given on the package and first test it on a small area.

If you choose a liquid polish, it should be shaken so as the liquid is mixed thoroughly and then it should be applied on a sponge which then is to be applied all over the car evenly.

Car wax greatly contributes in increasing the life of a car’s paint finish and makes the exterior of the car look enhanced. Car Wax also helps in concealing any marks that may be present on the surface. However, these marks would reappear when the wax is worn off.

It is true that it takes time and effort to wax a car but the result is worth spending time at as you are able to shield your car from environmental factors which can cause the paint to fade. There are many people who believe that applying car wax to the surface once is enough and it would provide protection for a long time.

These include liquid, paste, and the spray on, wipe off types. The hardest to apply is liquid car wax and this is also the hardest car wax to buff out after applying. Paste car wax used to be the most common type of car wax used but is now the least commonly used car wax. Paste car wax comes with a resuable applicator that makes it easy to spread on a car and helps avoid getting car wax on the windows of your car. The newest kind of car wax is the spray on, wipe off car wax.

Like myself, you are probably trying to get in as many outdoor activities as possible. One thing that might not cross your mind as a fun outdoor activity is washing your car. Not only does it provide exercise, and a clean vehicle but it also saves you money in the long run!

The first thing you will need is a hose, preferably with a spray nozzle, attached to some sort of water supply. You can typically find a hook up for your hose along the outside of your house someplace, which has a faucet you can screw the hose into. Now that you have got that under control, you need car wash supplies.

It can be applied very fast on the cars and it gives a long lasting high gloss to the cars.

For getting all of the benefits of car wax, some important things need to be considered. Firstly, it is considered that the best car wax is carnauba wax which seals better and easily applicable. Secondly, the easier the application of the wax, the more regularly it can be used. Thirdly, some spots on the cars are not removed after washing but they can be removed through it.
